thoughts for my hubby:

eat three square meals
portion control..means dont eat after feeling full
lots of water..
sometimes a nap is better than a snack..
sit down and breathe..calm down. and then eat your meal..savoring what you're eating.
watch the saturated fat and refined sugars (like sobe drinks!)
it's okay to take food home :P

i want to convey these thoughts to him through my example first and foremost! and that comes with losing weight this summer also... and first of all NOT encourage him to eat more..

don'ts
1. if i can't finish something..don't give it to him
2. don't offer food to him when he has a big meal
3. don't be naggy about eating habits..he's working hard..he's not a girl
4. don't

3. cook things for him that are not filled with fat

what i should restrict is things with saturated fat. in this kitchen..that includes:
cheese
red meat, it has alot of saturated fat, including beef and pork
butter


and that's it. i noticed that i'm kinda chunky..and even last week at camp I was eating wayy too much first of all..but i ate alot of fat too.

and of course..try to restrict eating when I am already full..or between meals.

but really need to cut down on the FAT.

also I need to work on getting in more cardio..like swimming would be awesome. yeah mind and body unity let's go! but most important of all ... is that portion control man. but i need to tone too..and lose fat around my upperbody..really...cut the FAT.
